A standard WordPress website is built mainly for publishing content and managing pages. Turning it into a full SaaS product requires much more, user accounts, subscriptions, payments, protected features, usage flows, analytics, and a reliable application experience.
Contentfinity needed to keep the flexibility of WordPress while adding the features of an AI content platform. The goal was to give users access to a complete content generation toolkit without forcing the product into a separate application stack.
Sollva built Contentfinity directly on top of WordPress core. We developed the custom theme, plugin architecture, frontend, backend, user interface, AI workflows, and payment integration from the ground up.
The platform uses OpenAI and Claude for content processing and generation. WordPress handles core functionality such as authentication, analytics, content management, and user administration, while the custom plugin adds the SaaS features around it.
We also integrated Paddle for subscriptions and payments. This gave Contentfinity a working SaaS foundation without giving up the tools and flexibility that made WordPress useful in the first place.
