A classified marketplace has to handle much more than a simple list of products. Buyers need to find the right listing by area, category, price, and type, while sellers need an easy way to publish and promote their ads.
Forsaah needed a scalable marketplace for buyers and sellers across the Middle East. The platform had to support large volumes of listings, location-based search, featured ads, paid promotions, private conversations, content moderation, and a smooth experience on both desktop and mobile.
The live platform organizes listings by categories, locations, prices, and different transaction types, including selling, renting, bidding, requesting, and exchanging.
Sollva built Forsaah from the ground up on top of WordPress Core. We created a custom theme, developed the marketplace functionality, handled authentication, improved search and filtering, and built the admin tools needed to manage listings, users, categories, reports, and platform content.
The frontend uses React to deliver a smoother browsing and listing experience, while PHP and WordPress handle the backend logic and content infrastructure. We also worked on performance optimization, deployment, large data handling, and scaling so the platform could support a growing number of listings.
The result is a full classified ads marketplace with seller tools, buyer communication, paid listing upgrades, smart suggestions, fraud detection, and an administration dashboard that gives the team control over the entire platform.
