Most AI writing tools give users a basic text box, a prompt field, and a generated result. That setup is too limited for people who need to rewrite longer documents while keeping control over tone, structure, and specific sections.
Infinite Rewriter needed to work as a complete editing platform rather than a simple AI prompt interface. Users needed to bring in content from different file types, define their own styles and audiences, protect sections from being changed, and export the finished work in formats they could use immediately.
The product also needed to run inside the WordPress ecosystem without feeling like a standard WordPress page. It required custom routing, a dedicated editor experience, subscription handling, streaming AI output, and a user interface built around long-form editing.
Sollva built Infinite Rewriter as a custom WordPress plugin with its own routing, UI, page templates, and SaaS workflows. We used WordPress Core for the dashboard, authentication, management tools, and the foundation of the application, then built the product experience on top of it.
The platform uses OpenAI for rewriting and content processing, with custom tuning to control how the output follows predefined writing styles and tones. We also integrated ElevenLabs to convert written content into audio with different speaker options.
The editor is based on Quill and extended with custom JavaScript features for AI rewriting, paragraph locking, streaming responses, custom styles, and audience settings. Users can upload original content, process PDF and DOCX files, and export their work as HTML, DOCX, PDF, or TXT.
