About the Project

Challenge:

Cartel Insider needed a faster way to turn breaking cartel news into organized, readable articles. The site covers stories connected to Mexican cartels, criminal activity, arrests, violence, and law enforcement operations, so the publishing workflow had to handle a steady stream of changing information.

The content team was working with reporting from established publishers such as CNN, BBC News, Reuters, The Guardian, and Al Jazeera. Collecting each article, reviewing its structure, choosing an image, adding categories, and preparing SEO fields manually would take too much time.

Cartel Insider needed a system that could automate the repetitive parts of news publishing while keeping the content organized and ready for editorial review.

Our Solution:

Sollva built Cartel Insider on top of WordPress and created an automated workflow for collecting, processing, and preparing news content.

The system gathers articles from selected publishers, including CNN, BBC News, Reuters, The Guardian, and Al Jazeera. AI then parses the source content, identifies the important information, detects suitable images, and helps create the tags and categories needed for each post.

The workflow also prepares SEO fields, target keywords, internal structure, and schema markup before an article reaches the publishing stage. This allows the team to manage a growing Cartel Insider news library while keeping topics such as CJNG, the Sinaloa Cartel, and regional crime reports properly organized.
