Lumise needed to give WooCommerce stores a complete print-on-demand and product personalization experience without requiring each store owner to build the feature from scratch.
Customers needed to design their own products, including T-shirts, hoodies, business cards, stickers, and other printable items. They also needed the ability to upload artwork, choose from predefined materials and designs, customize product elements, and see the result before placing an order.
The plugin had to work across different WordPress and WooCommerce stores while fitting into their existing checkout, payment, shipping, and order workflows.
Sollva built Lumise as a standalone WordPress plugin that adds product personalization and print-on-demand functionality to any compatible WooCommerce store.
The plugin gives customers an interactive product designer where they can create designs from scratch, customize existing templates, upload their own artwork, and select from available materials and product options. Once the design is complete, it moves through the normal WooCommerce checkout and payment process.
We also connected the final design files to the order so store owners can access the artwork required for production. The output is prepared at 300 DPI, which makes the design suitable for print workflows.lumise
Because Lumise works as a standalone plugin, store owners can add the product designer to an existing WooCommerce website instead of moving to a completely different ecommerce platform.
