Sight Paints started with a Laravel setup that had become difficult to extend and maintain. The original implementation limited the store’s features, created SEO and performance issues, and left the user interface feeling unfinished.
The project also needed more than a visual redesign. The new store had to support payments, shipping, pricing, invoices, and product management in one reliable ecommerce system. The brand needed a clearer identity too, so the interface, visual language, and shopping experience all had to move in the same direction.
Sollva rebuilt Sight Paints on top of WordPress and WooCommerce, replacing the old Laravel setup with a more flexible ecommerce foundation.
We developed a fully custom theme, rebuilt the frontend, improved the structure of the store, and reworked the interface down to the individual details. The result was a cleaner, more consistent shopping experience with better control over content, SEO, performance, and future features.
We also integrated the core commerce workflows, including payment processing, shipping, pricing, and invoices. Alongside the technical rebuild, we shaped the brand identity across the UI so the final store felt like one product instead of a collection of disconnected screens.
We also built a custom paint calculator that estimates the total paint required based on the customer’s home size, room dimensions, and selected areas. This helps shoppers understand how much paint they need before placing an order and gives them a clearer estimate of the expected cost.
